The RainViewer weather app provides users with highly accurate weather forecasts sourced directly from weather radars. It equips you to stay prepared for a range of severe weather conditions - from rain, snow, storms to hurricanes. The app allows users to monitor the weather radar map and check forecasts all within a single platform.
RainViewer offers a comprehensive set of tools necessary to keep users informed about the weather. These features include hyperlocal forecasts, real-time rain charts down to the minute, weather alerts, radar maps, and widgets.

<li>GLOBAL RAIN&SNOW: For areas without radar coverage, the "Global Rain&Snow" layer offers real-time satellite-based precipitation data for radar-free zones like oceans or deserts.</li>
<li>FORECAST: Receive hourly and daily weather forecasts to plan your days effectively. You can also check minute-by-minute rain forecasts for accurate rain start and end times.</li>
<li>WEATHER ALERTS: Stay informed about the onset and cessation of rain through precise rain alerts and be alerted about impending severe weather conditions.</li>
<li>WIDGETS: Widgets provide quick weather updates without unlocking your phone, ensuring you are always informed and prepared for any weather conditions.</li>
<li>LIVE ACTIVITY: RainViewer's Live Activity feature offers minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts, rain intensity, and time left until the end of rain.</li>
<li>TEMPERATURE MAP: Visualize global temperature changes over 24 hours on the map to track heatwaves, storms, and cool retreats easily.</li>
<li>DATA PRIVACY: RainViewer prioritizes user privacy by not personalizing or selling user data. Geolocation is used to enhance weather features without compromising user privacy.</li>

The RainViewer app is a precise and reliable weather tool that also includes additional features such as precipitation direction arrows on the radar map, radar animation forecasts for up to 2 hours, extended daily and hourly forecasts, 24-hour temperature and precipitation forecasts on the map, 48-hour map archives, hurricane tracker, weather tracking in up to 20 locations, as well as an ad-free experience.
Premium features can be accessed through an in-app monthly subscription for £4.99 or an annual subscription for £21.49. Subscriptions renew automatically but can be canceled in the App Store account settings.
